It's March 1st, so everyone has 2 weeks to order their badge, at least for it to be eligible for shipping. I really, really have to emphasize how important it is to get this thing shipped to you, so I'll just regale you with what happened to me:

I pre-registered, but opted for on-site pickup. So, I ended up waking up at 6:00am early Friday morning to beat the line. Ended up standing in line with Luin/HeK/Greatbacon(?) for 3-4 hours. That's pre-registration and on-site pickup. I believe at0m waited even longer for the regular registration (before the others pulled him out). Sure, a few hours might not seem like that much out of an entire weekend, but you'll regret not having it shipped when you're on your feet for several hours as the others are up and about. Order that shit! Now!

Anyways, get excited, shit's going down in <2 months. We should probably discuss logistics at greater depth in about a month.

I got in line relatively early, waited for 4 hours, and got pulled when I probably had another 2 hours left so we could do our photoshoot. It was not fun. Order online, get your shit shipped, don't be a scrub.

Acen on-site registration is so poorly organized it's not even funny.

(and they haven't even shipped out the 1st tier pre-reg badges out yet when they were supposed to in the beginning of Feb.)

But Line-Con was such a blast. 'Bout 4pm, Coe and I start standing outside in a line that stretched from the convention center entrance around the street corner and ended right across from the hotel. After about an hour, it slowly started moving. Some whiles later we made it inside and got put into another line into the "badge room". A whiles later after that, we got put into the badge line. Somewhere around 8-8:30ish, I walked out with my badge and the memories of an experience of a life time.

At least have the forethought to bring sufficient cash if you really want to wait in the longass line. If you don't get a pass in the first hour after they open, using a credit card is why the line is so bad. System is down more than its up.
