ACEN 2012 - Room Planning & Assignments

I pre-registered, but opted for on-site pickup. So, I ended up waking up at 6:00am early Friday morning to beat the line. Ended up standing in line with Luin/HeK/Greatbacon(?) for 3-4 hours. That's pre-registration and on-site pickup. I believe at0m waited even longer for the regular registration (before the others pulled him out). Sure, a few hours might not seem like that much out of an entire weekend, but you'll regret not having it shipped when you're on your feet for several hours as the others are up and about. Order that shit! Now!

Same thing happened to me pretty much. Except I didn't have anybody to wait in line with so I got stuck with smelly pot girl and Bleach super fanboy. There was also a hot Haruko cosplayer so it wasn't all bad, but not worth the multi-hour wait.

I'm almost thinking that since I wont know if I can go until April 7th, I might as well order a badge anyway in the chance I am going. At least then I'll have a badge so I can say I went even though I didn't.

on Friday, March 9th: Be on the lookout for all badges that were ordered at-con last May and Tier1 (except for kids, groups, and out-of-country) badges. They have been sent.
on Saturday, March 10th: Be on the lookout for all badges that were ordered at Youmacon, Kollision Con, all of Tier2, and Tier3 badges that were purchased prior to February 1st (except for kids, groups, and out-of-country). They have been sent.

Long time no see, yall.  Coelit is bullying me into going with him to acen.  I can't afford a room without roommates tho so I was hoping to see if anyone was willing to house me for the weekend.  I'm more than capable of splitting the bill, I pack light, and I smell good.  anyone have an open slot?

The least crowded rooms would either be "Old Balls" or "The Jungle", check the first page. We should get more people into Old Balls since Saxxy canceled and Pie's tentative but The Jungle would be the obvious choice for you if Coelit's the one who's convinced you to go :v

That reminds me, Serain (medic for the UGC-Highlander team Exodus Society) has basically confirmed that she'll be going (and will need accommodations!). You might recognize some of her artwork. Hopefully we can get her to make an intro post. Also, I've been meaning to chat with you regarding a carpool, at0m. Do you know if your travel plans will take you by LaFayette, Indiana? Or were you planning on taking the I-90? Heard caff already went over it

And a double post for an unrelated note. Think I should make a post on the UGC forums to see if anyone in the area would be interested in going? Might be worth seeing who is already planning to attend, and who is in the area and would be interested in popping by and meeting some fellow UGC players at the hotel.

EDIT: Looking at my frequency of posting over the past page or two, you can probably intuit that I'm very excited for this.

I stuck Zangetzu in with backfire and that room, with Cloud9 being tentative it should balance that room out. I also had forgotten about Saxxy so I might move TOH down to fill his slot, and potentially Zaius to fill Pie's slot depending on if he comes or not.
