if i recall correctly, thats a vista bug
look on the vast infinite knowledge that is google to find the key
idk if there is a solution or not right now

So Valve says they fixed this with the latest Steam update. It is fixed for me so far it seems...

Ever since the latest update I cannot for the life of me get the server to launch on #2 without segfaulting. It will hopefully be back up at some point :-[

Just quit through task manager to begin with?
