So I'm back in Orlando for Thanksgiving, and my brother, Dad, and I wanted to play some Civ 5. Unfortunately we're getting a weird problem where whenever all three of us join a multiplayer lobby, my copy of Civ freezes and stays that way until I close the game. Multiplayer with literally anyone else works for me, and this exact issue is happening with another game(Endless Space).
Stuff I've tried: Disabling firewalls Resetting the router Port forwarding Verifying Civ 5 cache Netsh commands/resetting every other setting I can think of Switching between ethernet and wireless. This issue has also happened while I'm in another city on another network, while my Dad and brother are on this network. My question: What kind of network/other issue could possibly cause only my games to crash when two/three of us are on the same network? |

Checked system resources while playing? I know Civ5 an eat up ram pretty quick, bigger worlds and more people. But that's usually crashing after game loads not in lobby.
Side note: if you have a multi-monitor setup and on windows 7, I would recommend http://addgadgets.com/. I have them on my monitor that I am not using. This way anytime I notice something slowing I can easily see if its hardware based. |

Out if personal experience Civ games have some of the touchiest networking out of all games. Make sure all copies are loaded with the EXACT SAME EXPANSIONS it can't even be one expansion different.
