I'm assuming I have a virus because my Steam account has been hijacked. Oh... and my hotmail... Say, has my doppleganger messaged any of you?

I don't see how people can get this to happen to them, I haven't had a real virus in years and all phishing scam websites/people that try to steal your password are obvious as fuck.

It's not about a stupidly downloading teh pr0nz or giving out your password or anything like that. Pwnage.tv's Leogeo2 got hacked while he was shoutcasting a match last week. Once his machine rebooted, he no longer had control of his steam account. The hacker who got his account also stole a bunch of accounts belonging to people in Leogeo's friendslist, and then removed them all from it. He got his account back in 2 days time, but not sure about everyone on his friendslist.

Well, Steam support said that if you ask them or whatever they email you a recovery pass to the ORIGINAL email you used to register. Or if you scan your cd-key and attach it they will lock down the account with the key.
