Why can't I access sm_admin? says I dont have the privs.

You should be able to, unless your STEAMID is somehow incorrect, you just need to bind a key to it, I use "-"

bind - sm_admin

Do that in console then press that key to access the admin menu.


Kicking a group out would require remote access via rcon and HLSW

I manually typed in SM_Admin in the console.

Also, I doubt my steam ID is wrong, because I can get into servers 1 and 2 when they are full, which means I am on the list with the right ID.

I'm glad I work now.
Just some other questions. How do you turn off the stats mod with all the number crunching? Its very... distracting to my friends and I.
And I believe the server was set on Advanced mode, what with Sp. Infected doing 5 per claw instead of 4, and zombies hurting a bit more, as well as Friendly Feuer.
How do you change this stuff?

There was a plugin I put on in the past to vote difficulty, but that was removed quite some time ago. Have you ever checked the update notes to see if they buffed it?

Friendly fire I think is togglable via vote using sourcemod, should be in voting then 'vote ff', unless of course you can't turn it off in L4D

The stats plugin I might be able to make a config to turn it off, I rather liked it, cause it told me if I was hitting people through walls

There's a lot of L4D stuff steam message me or whatever and I'll give you a crash course; But for now if you want those numbers disabled turning on war mode will get rid of it.

Orbix would love to be able to upload more custom maps and maintain it.  His internet connection is very good too.  He doesn't really say anything on the forums so I thought I would.  He would probably give the l4d server A LOT more use than I could.  We might even get a l4d night going.

Maybe we can see something about admins for him if he plays on the server a lot but no one is getting ftp access to the server unless Caff wants it to happen. If you want maps uploaded we have a thread in this very forum for suggested maps nobodies posted in it put them there and they will be uploaded.

I dont play L4D very much now that i found some new fun CSS servers , but ive started to get back in the game. Since school just ended (Yeah im in school ) i have a lot more time on my hands, so give me a couple weeks or so and if im still playing L4D Daily, Nightly, and a ever so rightly than i might go for admin
