Yeah.

And as for the Cloak and Dagger... well, I think that all largely depends on its drain/regen rates, but if pick a good, secluded spot to park in for a couple seconds, you'll be fine.  As it stands now, you sometimes have to make some loooong sprints across stretches of ground without any metal in sight to refill that cloak.  More than once, lack of metal has gotten me axed.

What I'm most interested in is if they'll update the Sapper and Disguise Kit, and if they do, how they'll do it.

I'm guessing the reason there's two watches is because the kit and the knife won't get upgrades.

Valve Surprise: Team Fortress 2 Sniper Update Will Include Spy Unlockables, Too

The free update--said to be out in the "coming days"--will now encompass the Sniper and Spy unlockable weapons, the Payload Race game mode, two new Arena maps, and cosmetic head-slot items for all classes.

If you look at the unlockables page for the Spy, there is space for the watch, the knife, and the revolver. Nothing else is getting updated.

Yeah these sound absolutely worthless, but I'm not sure what exactly they can give the spy anyways outside of some kind of revolver replacement (though the revolver is super fucking powerful, so I don't know what could make you give it up).  Well the fake death one could be useful if it had any NORMAL cloaking as well, but I'm not sure what they would take away to balance that (other than the same thing they did to the other watch).

arent you almost perma cloaked if you pick up ammo packs anyways? the maps should have close to enough to run end to end on packs.

Yeah but I could see C&D being useful on normal pubs.  We're so used to alltalk.  But imagine on a pub a spy sitting there pointintg out everything the enemy is doing.  Could be useful.

Probably not as useful as stabbing said people but it might have his uses, though on most maps Spies have perma cloak from ammo boxes anyway.
