I have a terrible votecrits plugin I kludged together that has a vote for crits after every mapchange (it pops the vote up 10 seconds or so after round start) if you want to try that

It's just a very crappy solution, where the time to wait before voting is hardcoded, I don't think there's a way to disable it, there's no chat trigger to start a vote like rtv, etc etc etc. It was modified from some other terrible plugin, but I don't remember what the original plugin is anymore. It's poorly coded, but it's a start if someone wanted to write something proper.

Also if you decide to have votecrits, you might as well tie in tf_disable_random_damage to the vote since the nocrits crowd is also the same crowd that is fond of disabling random damage.

Duck uses his own download URL afaik, so he'd have to update it with all of the bz2 files

Dunno what happened Luca, but I was able to download every map yesterday. Just deleted them all and double-checked, and I didn't have any problems just now either. The only thing I can think of is that maybe if too many people are trying to download at once some connections are refused? Did you try reconnecting to the server a few times?

You should really make an announce a few seconds before the vote starts since Engis are building around that time.

This ;P  And also holy hell!  Talk about absolute pubscrubs.  And I'm not even talking about skill.  Some of them were decent.  But man, I forgot what it was like playing with the actual internet as opposed to mostly brbu.  Had a couple of real asshats on tonight.  Almost makes me wish brbu members got like one temp ban/month just to ban racist ass hats and whatnot.
