After playing it for a while, the stun is way too long when used at close range, I was under the impression that basically if a scout hits you point blank, it does literally nothing, they shouldn't have time to quick switch to the scatter gun and kill you

The range at which it is effective is the pretty rape. Â I've NEVER been hit by it from farther than five feet away, it's always a Scout that runs right up into your face, hits you with it, then kills you while you're stunned. Â Also I haven't used the thing, but I heard it works as part of the normal attack instead of having it's own secondary fire to use it? Â WTF? Â That's the dumbest implementation I've ever seen if that's how it works.

I use bonk on SGs. That's about it. Unless I'm going for comedy option or near death running away.
