I can't use my Scout Unlockables on the Server

So, I unlocked all the Scout Weapons, but every time I got to play on #1, I can't use any of them. I thought maybe it was the game, but after going to 10+ different servers, it's just #1 that isn't allowing me to use my weapons.

Do other unlocks work?

Did you try going to the resupply cabinet? (They don't immediately swap like they used to)

Did you try restarting steam?

Can other people use the scout weapons?

Are you sure you didn't lose your unlocks for a month for exploiting? (this was part of the update)

Well I think the sploiting thing might be server specific, cause I have no idea how they would track that across other servers other than to insert code into the server to match a steamID in the logs to someone actually playing, at least...that's how I would do it.

Joel said that others were using it, since its not universal that makes it much more tricky. Ill make sure to restart the server tomorrow morning when its empty in case the problem was somehow related to the server. Ill also check the HLDS mailer in case someone else has reported a similar issue.

It only seems to be a problem on the BRBU server right now.  It says I have the weapons unlocked and equipped, but it just gives me the default stuff and going to the cabinet doesn't help.  All my achievements and unlocks are legit and done in normal games.  Tried restarting TF2, but that didn't help.

Didn't check my other unlocks, so I can't say about them.

And it looks like some people can use the weapons, but not everyone I guess.

Yea after some testing, still no dice. all I can think now is restarting my computer

Ill try restarting the server over night, if its still an issue come the weekend Ill forward the problem on to the HLDS

Doesn't work for me either, you could always just, go to another server and equip them if it works there then come back to brbu till whatever causes it is fixed though. My FAN was equipped when I got to brbu since I had it on from a previous server, but the Sandman wouldn't equip so eh. Maybe try that? I would right now but I'm playing Monster Hunter and Kirin is being a bitch.

I think there's some pretty odd bugs out there right now.  I verified my GCF, defragged, deleted my TF2 folder (saved maps) and let steam do its reinstall from .GCF by running TF2 after all this.  So far, seems to have fixed all my unlock problems.  We'll see if ti holds up.

EDIT: Yea, Caff all is fine now, I can use my unlockables on the server. Guess the Server restart worked
