FNF 2008/12/26 - The US doesn't have Boxing Day? :S

Yeah, surprised me when I heard it. Makes sense that they have Black Friday instead, but still...

Anyways, welcome one and all to the last FNF hurrah of 2008! There are going to be two maps tonight for TF2, and the usual zombie mayhem in Left 4 Dead. For the new content we have:

- ctf_2009_xmas_rc1 - CTF map with a Christmas theme. Looks pretty neat, and actually allows players to launch fireworks in the air. There is a sign indicating that something is supposed to happen at midnight on new years eve, but I couldn't get it to work locally so I'm not quite sure what to make of it.
- cp_soar Tight little map featuring launchers and a single capture point over a bottomless pit. I could see this being pretty fun at least for a bit.

I may not be able to make it out tonight, but there will be a server admin to take care of things.
