LEGO? yawn.
A functional lower receiver made from 3-D printed LEGO? Colour me interested. ASIDE: My serious current fantasy involves getting a functional basement shop where I can 3-d print replacement parts for whatever plastic bit of first entropy planned obsolescence hits my consumer goods. Need non-flooding basement first... |

A sump pump was my project last spring. While I had fun using the jackhammer, holding a 2" concrete boring drill above my head for 20 minutes wasn't. Especially after hitting rebar, twice.

So I have converted mostly from plastic bushings to linear bearings.... with increased backlash. Damn lack of available 8mm guide rod.
In other news, a web-based reprap print server has been released, designed mainly for use on a Raspberry Pi. http://www.repetier.com/repetier-server-download/ It works mostly well. |

Because someone had to:
*Note 1: I cannot legally buy ammunition as my FAC license has expired and I have not bothered to renew *Note 2: I cannot legally fire it *Note 3: Because of the above and the general lack of documentation or even scale from Defcad, I printed this at am arbitrary scale. Unless you can find 7.4mm ammo, it's not doing much. |
