Mkay, last year we had 15 RSVP but. Had to call and adjust to 25. I'll call tonight for a 20-top, tentatively.

But, for all it's forms, ketchup has a way of overpowering anything you put it on. mustard and raw onions on hotdogs, preferably spicy mustard
also i generally wouldn't eat fries w/ ketchup unless the fries were terrible, in which case why bother. no need to dress up fat, salt, and potato with HFCS and red food dye (03-26-2014, 08:36 PM)rumbot link Wrote: or as the turks immigrants have bestowed upon germany, some curry ketchup. i want to try this

I don't know which ones are good yet...none of the one's I've had in-country are available for sell. Knorr, generally, has faithful german reproductions. ok, just ordered a knorr. will tell. |

I've only tried Gouda's Glorie Knijpkanjer. It's Dutch. It's alright on fries, much better when paired with mayo.

I'm in for the Friday dinner barring an Uematsu group being on Friday.

There was an error on the website, the location I was hoping to book at is not equipped for parties and does not take reservation. I will have to look for other options--but ideally we will be within a 5-6 blocks of the Blue line, downtown, somewhere we will not exceed $20 per person.

I can't think of any locations that fit that criteria other than pizza and hot dog places. Maybe Portillos would work, but the only location is on Clark and Ontario which is close to the Grand stop on the Red Line (although you could easily switch transit on Jackson free--it'll just take a while getting there).
Their food is relatively cheap and very tasty; there's plenty to choose from as well! Oh also: Valve has been added to the gatherings list for Saturday at Loading Dock C around 3-3:30; there's no current thread going on the gathering forums and I'm in the process of posting one. However I have zero experience organizing a gathering and leading one--would anyone be willing to help out or should I try seeing if a kind stranger will volunteer? I have shit taste in anime.
