Bought the video card on cyber monday of 2012, and it's been sitting around.

Got the memory from a friend. It's 4GB Gskill, wasn't sure which model exactly.

SSD may come eventually to put windows on for those godly boot times. But for now, I'm just happy to have it running.

Id double up your memory if possible, especially since 64-bit Windows 7 can use all of it

Probably a good plan. Besides the shitty $10 walmart keyboard, that's easily the most lacking part of the system.

Yeah I figured it would be, it's about a year old. I used it because I already had one. It's been working pretty well so far actually. I'm running Warthunder on Movie quality (high quality + 3) at 70fps, and that's about what I was looking for; running most things on high+ for 60+. Price range is variable. I have about $800 disposable income every month.

I run a gtx 560 ti and most games can get about 60 fps but since it has been used pretty heavily in games and is pushing 2 years old. Its starting to pull my overall system performance down.

Christmas might be the time I jump for a 770 or something.
For a lower price 600 series is good.

The 760 and the 660 ti perform very closely to each other, with the 760 drawing less power.
If you don't mind the extra, the 770 is by far the best bang for the buck.

Probably op for a 770 in the 4gb model.
If not that then the 2gb.

I plan on waiting to buy after black friday though.
If i were you i would try to sell/trade up your 560 to a newer gen card.
I think i have seen 660 go for around $200 or less, if you get a good value on your 560 you could be dropping 50-100 bucks on a far superior card.
