PS Saturdays 8/31 - Well it looks about that time...

...for some kind of contest. Numbers have been really sketchy of late and since I tend to be an abysmal failure at recruiting people in game (or they're too lazy to alt-tab and install a third-party chat program), its time to take a step back and drum up some more people regularly playing within the community (which hopefully leads to more people through in game recruiting as well).

We've been running pretty tight knit infantry and vehicle squads, but its really difficult to be effective when we have less than 6 or so people. When we have been rolling 10+ all in mumble we steam roll groups upwards of twice our size. Especially considering a lot of times in the past we've been really scatter brained Ive started calling out people for breaking with the group and doing their own thing.

For your part, its probably best to log in sometime this week to patch up, if its been a while you'll probably have to download several gigs of updates.


The Rules:
- You must be on for a total of at least 2 hours, no popping in and out to be counted
- Must be on mumble, and check in with me (so I can note that you were there)
- Reply here in the thread stating that you will be there (or will try)

I may make an appearance, but since I'll be in the process of moving & my girlfriend's family is going to be in town, I'm not sure when or for how long I'll be there. I'll poke my friend pakman (PS2 username p4kman) to get him to join you all, he's become a member of the Church of Silenced V6-7 + 2 blocks of C4, so I think he'll enjoy running with us.

I've invited all that I can to come join when possible, but we don't have to be that big to do a charity event. Get in contact with a charity company, tell them you're interested in doing it.. Get in contact with the devs in combination with the charity group. Have some multiple streamers, and spam the hell out of "Please donate" bullshit.
