Hey, google isn't being too clear on this so I thought I'd ask you guys. I need one of my Zentai suit arms to be silvery or at least not the base army green that it already is. Google keeps on mentioning fabric paint, but it doesn't sound like it will do what I want it to. So my question is: Will spray paint destroy my suit?
Here's the image of the arm: |

You can try a specialty spray paint. Like latex or something (I doubt they sell them in silver though)
Easiest way is to buy some silver lycra fabric and sew an arm on (don't forget your elastic thread). Less experimenting, less headaches. ask me about mpreg |

Spray paint will not work on anything that stretches or flexes. It will fly off as soon as it does. The only kind of pain that MIGHT work, and this is debateable, is acrylic mixed with fabric media. But even then the stretch is probably going to be too much for it.
<+Karrde> welp, time to learn some basic patterning skills <@Negate> 12121212121212121212 <@Negate> there is a simple pattern <+Karrde> I changed my mind. Gonna cosplay as a gay demon from hell and get negate raped instead XD <+Caffeine`work> Karrde: Gay demon? Why would you need to cosplay just go as yourself <+FlyingMongoose> Caffeine`work: Karrde would actually have to tone it down some. |
