Got my new sleeping pad and compressible pillow
Few pics on here First thoughts, both of them are very compact when compressed. Didn't take long for either to expand to full size. Had to blow up the mat a little bit and I'm letting it sit for a while to see how well it expands by itself by ACEN. The pad is also very comfortable. Honestly, this probably gives better support than my mattress (although my mattress is a pile of shit so that's not saying much). I got the long size, I could have probably got away with the regular, but the price difference was insignificant so I went for the bigger size just in case. I could easily see using this as a camping accessory in the future. If it holds up I give it a strong recommendation to anyone looking for a mid price sleeping mat. Good for the floor-destined con-sleeper or outdoor camping combined with a tent and possibly a cot. See the fml thread...
If everything goes well I will have a weekend with you fine folks immediately after leaving my grandpa's funeral. Which will be about the perfect antidote to my family. HeK: I may need to call for an exfil from the Eagle Harbor, MI area.

Canadians badge get.
K0ala: I've been to Eagle Bay. We race up there. Check out The Library in Houghton on the way up. Good food and beer. See if you can stop in Gay, MI as well; they have a bar with clever t-shirts. |

I'm going to be heading down thursday night by bus (Milwaukee to O'Hare) and I will need someone to pick me up. I can provide a time probably closer to ACEN, but I would just like to know who all would be available when and if they would be willing to come get me at O'Hare. I could take the shuttle from the airport to the hotel, but wheres the fun in that?

No idea how much the shuttle is, but you'll probably have to take the O'hare tram to the kiss n' fly lot. I'd personally just burn the $2.25 and take the blue line. Hit me up on mumble if you need specific explanations. I will have a car there, but parking's already awful in the early evening on Thursday. I'd prefer to let it sit. |

Just take the Hyatt (Regency blah blah, don't take the wrong one hehe) hotel shuttle bus. It's free and runs very frequently. There is no reason not to take it if you're arriving by bus to O'Hare since you'll arrive in the bus/shuttle area.
