Using Versus mode

There is no "versus mode" there are only versus maps with versus mode in them.  It's a bit confusing the way they did it but if you want to play versus mode you have to change it to a versus map.  There is no other way to play it.  So if you can't get versus going you are probably on a co-op map.  Also if you are stuck in versus mode you have to change it back to the co-op map to play co-op.

No, on the private server, in order to get versus to work 4 people need to go in, then vote to change the map to a versus one, then the other 4 people need to join.

If you rcon change it to a versus map, it will show 0/8, but when people join it will force the game back to co-op and take the server down to 4 slots.

No, it *must* be voted, rcon in hlsw is the same as doing it in game, and it doesn't work.

I dont think you need 4 people to start a vote obviously, any number in game should be able to work
