[/quote]If the station is the airport, public transit is an option. From O'Hare it's like one subway stop, from Midway I think you have to transfer once. I'd prefer to only run a taxi service for people who either can't carry their stuff because it's fragile or literally can't get to the hotel any other way (crazy ass bus stations in the middle of nowhere, looking at you Zaneyard)

If you are flying into midway or ohare, take public transit.

Ohare -> One stop on the blue line, Rosemont (~10 min)
Midway -> Take redline north to Jackson, transfer (completely underground) to Blue line, ride to Rosemont stop (~1 hour)

So I've been watching a lot of the Awesome Games Done Quick stream (basically a meetup of speedrunners who livecast their games to raise money for cancer research). In their long finale, some people talked about how great it was to bring everyone together from across the world just for one thing. It really reminded me a lot of ACEN and makes me really look forward to it.

Wow uh

So I made an FB call out to get a final count of college friends that wanted to go--this would allow me to figure out how many spaces in my room would be available to BRBU members. I got a surprisingly large number of people expressing interest, so much that I now have 7-8 people in my room before adding any BRBU people. Given that it's a double, I think I have to officially close off my room to you fine folks . On the bright side, there'll be a lot of people for you to meet! I'll be adding them to the spreadsheet with their steam handles, and bumping versus (owned nerd!!!!)

Hoping this is okay, since we still have ample space to fill (especially with VIPs fitting up to like 12 or 14)

EDIT: Also at least half of them will be cosplaying

1) myself
2) my ladyfriend
3) my OTP (Evil Cheese)
4) another fine lady (RoseSpirit)

Any pairing of these sitting in each other's laps will significantly distract me from being able to drive.
