On a side note, I've been working on my first tattoo. It's a Dharmacakra tied to a celtic cross using eastern endless knots.
It's a work in progress... But what do you all think?

as someone who knows nothing about tattoos or art, it looks like there's a bit too much going on...  Maybe it'd be better to just make each symbol a separate entity?  Although I guess you're trying to show that you've fused those philosophies/cultures into a new entity, right?

Yes, it's a fusion of my religion, buddhism (the dharmacakra, endless knot) with a very strong an influential culture on my life (the celtic cross, and irish culture).

I know barely anything about tattoos but from what I do know unless it's gonna be huge (like, entire back) there's a hell of a lot going on; if that's going onto an arm there's DEFINITELY too much, it's bigger than my upper arm and unless you have a larger upper arm than me (very possible, as I am skinny baby man) the pattern will probably wind up lost. Also red hurts apparently. I'd simplify the cross (say, remove the knot pattern and the darker outline) and keep the Dharmacakra as the ring/halo/whatever the fuck is the proper name for the round thing of the cross.
