Browsing the intertubes and I click a Youtube URL, and go to investigate as to why it's loading like a dinosaur.

I notice my laptop seems to be seeding a torrent at almost 1.3MB/s, which is really weird because 10Mbps = 1.2MB/s and I've only got 5Mbps. Even that's a 6 month special over my normal 2Mbps because of some horseshit I went through last year with TWC, so I assume it's just uTorrent being silly and kill it.

Go run a speedtest just out of curiosity, and sure as shit, I've got 10Mbps upload speed.

Thanks to having a real gateway device and uTorrent seeding on unlimited speed mode at the time, I was able to determine that when my internet cut out earlier today, that my upload speed was doubled during the downtime. Soon as WAN link was back up it was plugging along at an upload speed that's not even offered under Time Warner's most expensive internet plan. (50/5)


Not gonna ask questions, just gonna seed the shit out of some torrents. And knock on every piece of wood I can find. Too bad the only ratio bumps I'll get are on public trackers though.  :-\
