As an addendum, that side piece is GOING to break during the con, its already broken once, its being held on by the black belt and hot glue to fill in some contact points.

With the way the pipe is bent it's not flush, so not only does it want to rock back and forth, but it wants to roll against the other pipe (yay tangent circles!).

I dont have the time for it now but after the con Im going to put a threaded rod through both ends, then a nut/washer and use the belts as superficial 'coverings' to fix the problem.
