No that's for the whole con, its nice that ACEN actually has some organization for it. Other cons are just abysmal when it comes to photoshoots.

Youmacon had some pretty good scheduling when it was in Dearborn.  At the Hyatt it's not that bad either.  I just hope ACEN doesn't change the schedule for the shoots at the last minute like they did last year.

Also, Bleach at 2pm... Time to finally my Ghostbuster picture with them now that I have my trap!

anyone ever use colored contacts? They fuck up your vision real good? I was thinking about getting green colored ones to round out my costume.

nevermind, i'd have to get prescription lenses, and individual non prescription colored lenses look expensive enough. I doubt that I would be able to find individual prescription lenses for cheap.

Yes. It depends. Are you getting them from an ophthalmologist? Or circle/cosplay lenses from online?
They aren't supposed to harm your eyes if you wear them correctly (don't wear cosplay lenses for more than 8 hrs straight).
I have to get mine from online since the ones sold by acuvue etc are more suited for lighter eyes.
If buying online: Make sure you get a prescription for contacts first so you can get the right fit for your eyes. Having the correct base curve is important as having lenses that are too tight will constrict oxygen flow to your eyes, and having lenses that are too loose will cause them to slip around on your eye (which impairs your vision).
I can give you some more info and stuff if you are going to get a pair online.

Edit: define cheap. I may have a few websites on hand.

I was finding lenses for 30 dollars for one non prescription lens. I do have a prescription that is pretty close to current. My current thought is that I'm going to be spending about 50 bucks for all the paint, remover, sealant, and applicators. And I still need to register. I'm probably going to not do the lenses, simply for the fact that I don't want to blow too much more than I am already.

Yeah I like the 25 dollars for both price better than 30 bucks for one, but I just figured it would be a cool finishing touch. We'll see.

I'm now beginning my 2 month long cutting period, in which I hope to lose about 20-25 pounds to bring myself down to a very lean body status. I can't be The Slightly Overweight Incredible Hulk can I?

I don't think hulkmode is going to happen this year guys. Maybe next year.
Maybe if somehow I can start losing weight again but it seems like it's not possible for me to eat any less.
I'll give it about 3 more weeks before I decide it's not going to work out. I've had a few weeks of rest lately because of sickness so maybe that's causing my metabolism to slow.

If I can get down to an ideal bodyfat percentage I will be pretty aesthetic but definitely not hulkmode. I'll be what's considered ottermode by all of /fit/
We'll see what these next couple of weeks bring. I don't feel like I could do the body paint if I'm not lean because then it just doesn't even work it's like I'm doing it to be ironic or something.
