When I looked at the brbu subsection of my friends list and see more people playing skyrim than tf2.  ;D

Invited the girl mentioned in the FML thread to come with me and another friend on a little drive on a rainy day. The mountain roads were all closed, but we all got coffee and had good discussion there and in the car.
Friendship not totally ruined. I still want to talk with her about moving on from the other night, but this is a good start.

I'm probably not the best person to take advice on this subject from, but here it is anyway. Don't lose confidence and don't give up on her. Don't let the other night escalate into something bigger than it actually as in your mind. It's good to show concern, but if you focus too much on it and can't get over it or overplay it, she might think: 1) you think she's too shallow to get over it, 2) you're shallow, and/or 3) you just don't get it or understand her. Let your feelings set the goal, but you can't get there without a clear head.
