OMG, I watched a group of locals try to replace the windshield in an uparmored SUV today. FUCKING HILARIOUS. So, they cut off the trim and weatherstripping around the windshield like normal, and I'm expecting them to continue with a razor blade under the windshield. NO, DUDE PULLS A FUCKING HAMMER. And starts just smashing the shit out of the edges of the windshield while two other hadji are inside the cabin pushing out on the windshield with their feet. 30 minutes go by, and the three stooges have damn near destroyed the windshield but it's still not coming out. One of the fuckers is over here trying to get glass chips out of his eyes, and I'm standing a good ways off laughing hysterically at them. Then they came over, said they didn't have the right tools for this type armor/windshield combo and ask to start a second truck after completely botching the first. That's when I lost my shit and almost shot a hadji, today. Â

I did the same job in under 30 minutes, using only duct tape and a knife. Then again our windshield was smashed to shit and our replacement was from an other car and several inches larger all around. And we had 30 minutes or we forfeit. |
