The VDS I rent for brbu was on a 2.4 something Ghz CPU for around a year, and I recently upgraded the package with SSD space so my KF servers are that much faster. Also got it because Chicago was out of SSD servers, so I had to wait for a brand new one to be shipped in for me (Brand new (faster) hardware anyone?)
The new machine had a kickin' Xeon X5675, a 3.06GHz $1400 mad powerhouse, 6 core, 12 threaded CPU. But my VDS was crashing about every 5-6 hours, makes it sort of pointless. After going back and forth with John for a day or so, I had him move me to (another) new machine in Chicago, and wouldn't you know it. This one has an even newer Xeon E31270, an even faster 3.4Ghz Sandy Bridge CPU. I passed my board certification exam! I was studying all summer and it certainly felt like the most important exam of my life. I'm so glad that it's over and I don't have to take it again next year! (Plus between the cost of the exam and the cost of the review course I took I spent around $2200 on it... really didn't want to have to pay that again next year if I failed)
