I never left.  I just travel around to different parts of Afghanistan.  It's actually pretty cool, I've probably been to more places than any other LT in the country.  My playground covers 4 different brigade AOs.

Parents closed on a house. Moving in October.

Will be upgraded to a nice big desk, new bed, and a bigger room.

Sister will be on the other side of the house so I don't have to hear her country music, it'll be so good.

Now I can stop making lattes for doctors and actually start getting some direct patient contact experience.

my friend claims he can't wait to be in emergency medicine BECAUSE the average burnout age for doctors there is in the twenties supposedly. I wish you all the best in handling it.

Oh I believe it, especially after I interviewed a doctor who's in internal medicine about it. Apparently he used to be in ER until it got too be too tiring for him.
I'm volunteering with the department, not working there, so I won't be doing very stressful tasks. Mainly transporting patients and helping out with menial tasks (cleaning,etc).
