Server.cfg issue discussion

There are some issues with the server.cfg settings not letting people connect so here is where we will discuss crafting a working server.cfg.

Here is mine:

hostname        Surf's 4 Dead

// password for rcon
rcon_password   "nottelling  :-X"

// Difficulty of the current game  (easy, normal, hard, impossible)
z_difficulty    normal

// steam group that has access to the server
sv_steamgroup 581766

// only for members of certain steam group
sv_steamgroup_exclusive 1

Shouldn't you just call it Surf 4 Dead?

I think this is the offending variable, so I deleted it.  But I can't test it.

Also can you vote change map and difficulty?

Stripped it down with this and a line setting the password and am running it without the -nomaster I was using and it still seems not to work.  I might buy it tomorrow and then Ill tinker with it on my own and not bug you guys anymore.  Damn this is frustrating.
