I was walking out to my car that's parked under a maple tree earlier when a big gust of wind suddenly hit it, and I was bombarded by dozens upon dozens of little helicopters. I was like "Oh shit this is how the Vietnamese must have felt"

So I ordered some earbuds on Sunday on the premise that they are cheap and would stay in when I went running. Anyway, thanks to Amazon Prime they were supposed to show up yesterday. They shipped out of a facility in Kansas, but instead of heading west like they should have they've been routed 4 states east into Ohio. Kind of shitty but mostly I'm just WTFing.

did anyone used to play gogos/crazybones when they where younger? I just saw a commercial for the new generation but they're not as cool looking as the old.

Get on red, only 4 or 5 regulars on.
No one doing shit that could pass as teamwork. Quit five minutes later. And that's how my day went. I missed FNF so I could coach Aeonwire some. I took him to TFP servers, where alltalk was off, but they had one whiny nerd for EACH team and they just would.not.shut.UP. then I said, "see, this is why I hang out on BRBu"

I fucking hate how steam blows my sound down to barely audible when I do something in it and I'm listening to music at the same time.
Like I change my name, and winamp is suddenly inaudible. Fuck steam. Check your mixers and settings. Mine used to turn everything else down when someone in mumble/skype spoke...and never turned it back up. EDIT: And yes, we start mid-september. Only 3 week winter break and 1 week spring break though. My agenda for the summer: 1. Working at my position at a gov't research lab 2. Volunteering at a free clinic (some catholic one, to which I feel eugfhgjfgn but I need clinical experience) 3. Running C25K (again) and doing daily situps, pushups, and basic free weight lifting. 4. Taking an online Kaplan MCAT prep course 5. Working on that frag video (eheh)

Still, most people who come into the clinic are low-income and have pretty run-of-the-mill maladies. |

Still, most people who come into the clinic are low-income and have pretty run-of-the-mill maladies. [/quote] Man, reminds me of a fun experience... Went for the morning after pill once (good ole' faulty condom). I was fucking TERRIFIED because they never discussed this shit with us in school. I am at the walk-in clinic at 7 am, the moment they open their doors. Doctor comes in, I tell him what I need, and he looks at me in horror. "Oh no no no, that's a woman's problem, I can't help you with that". He backs away to the door and makes the fucking receptionist come tell me to leave. So I'm in a panic. Like, a huge fucking panic. I now have to go to a second clinic and wait several hours, making myself late for work. That doctor is like "oh lol here's the pill and here's some free birth control, and a prescription for later" like it's no big deal. LIKE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE FIRST PLACE. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU Imagine if this happened to some other girl who didn't go to the second clinic? |
