Yes, that's why screw drivers, in my case, and super glue will always be your friend and forever part of your con packing prep.

Also a silver marker can, and will come in handy for props.  At least for items that are suppose to me metal like guns, flame throwers, proton packs.  You can use the marker to cover up any and all scratches to look like weathering

You also had a medic costume right? The proton pack was very well done, what did you use to make it?



One of us in TF2 garb, someone gave mad props to eightball, bunch of me as gold ;D

Well, no I wasn't a Medic at ACEN, but I have made Medic props for Youmacon here in Michigan.

Other props I made, well the Medic Gun, the Pyro, who was with me, I made his flamethrower, and his grenades which we didn't have a change to get on him.  I also made the Heavys "Sasha" minigun, again at Youmacon, going to be making Demo stuff over the summer for Youma... again... maybe some spy stuff too.  Also I'll be working on a second Proton Pack hopefully over the summer too.

I was a Red Engi since it's my favorite class.  I didn't make a prop for him yet but I was given a Golden Wrench for free by this awesome guy that came by the TF2 shoot.  Woot for me!  I also have plans to make a dispenser out of Styrofoam cooler for snax and drinks while we relax at the con.  Also so I can tell people "outta mah way. Outta mah way!" as i run by getting to the shoot.

Ahh well keep in touch and we'll meet up again or what have you.  I already have my room, FYI $110 a night at the Ren Cen, also might I suggest requesting a room as close to the 9th floor as possible.  That's where the hotel rooms start there unless, you get in the a joining hotel.  Because the elevators will be a wreck if they're anything like last year.  This building is like... 60+ floors.

Last year, walking up to the 22nd wasn't fun, but it was poetic justice in the Proton Pack.  In Ghostbusters 1, Dana Barett, Sigourney Weaver, lived on the 22nd floor and the Ghostbusters had to walk up the stairs.  Needless to say when I got to 20, I threw up. ... but not really.  Just quoting.
