So, to celebrate the Taliban kicking off their "Spring Offensive," we had an awesome cook out today.

I hope there was much pork.

Parents came up and took me out to lunch, then bought me two weeks worth of groceries, plus tonight is sushi night at a friends house and there is only a weeks worth of classes for the semester.

We had state championships today, and out of the six events we entered, we placed first scholastically in five of them. We did the best we've done in the history of our team.
We got six trophies (all are for first place):


1st Varsity 8
2nd Varsity 8
Lightweight 8
Freshman 8
Scholastic Men's Points
Scholastic Overall Points

The only boat that beat us was a club team that recruits from 6 schools, and they only beat us by about 20 feet. So if they need 6 schools to beat our one, I'm totally cool with that.

So yah, in a few weeks is my senior over night party where students that go are locked in from 10:30 pm- 5:30 am. There will be a casino setup and you can play shit like blackjack and stuff to get chips and use the chips to get prizes.

1. I am going to this in a fancy pimp suit and hat I scrapped together for the pure hilariousness of it, I will also attempt to get a oldschool boombox and blast this while struttin my strut.

awesome: no supervision, low call volume, chance of nap, eat at desk
sucked balls: no shift differential, sleeping during the day, missing friends, and I had to wake somebody up if I needed a superior's advice. I was losing money because of all the extra go-to-sleep and wake-the-fuck-up products I was buying.
