Also, I wouldn't call it wasteful but I spent $1200 to get my car worked on.

It's a lot yes, but the BMW Service Manager knocked $200 bucks off because of a miscommunication. I also got a 2011 BMW 328i as a loaner for the weekend. Power was a bit on the "meh" side but it hugs corners like a mofo. It probably could have given Heks Imprezza a run for it's money.
