Actually, since the recent update that optimized it like crazy and made the controls a lot smoother, I've been feeling like playing it a lot more.

Also, I haven't been keeping up to date with my Devil May Cry games, but I remember enjoying the earlier ones. Any opinions as to the quality of DMC4?

if you have a gamepad its even better.

by default it doesnt support anything except an xbox controller but you can get it modded up quite easily.

XBOX 360 Controller emulator v1.0 for PC games using XINPUT.

This program will allow you to use other controllers rather than the XBOX 360 Controller for games like
'Juiced 2' and 'The Club'.  This is an early version and the buttons/axes are hard coded
for the Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 Controller, but it may also work for other controllers.

Notes:
This program is a proxy dll making calls to standard direct input functions.
This program expects your controller to be first in your game controllers list.
The Left and Right trigger will not be analog.
Tested with Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 / PSX Pad Controllers.
Tested with 'Juiced 2 HIN' and 'The Club' PC Games
There is no vibration feature in this first version.


Installation:
Backup then replace the xinput1_3.dll file in the game root directory with the one from this archive.


Uninstallation:
Replace xinput1_3.dll with your original backup copy.


Usage:
When the game starts you should hear a beep from your PC speaker. 
If you do not have a PC speaker you may not hear the beep, but it will still work.
Play the game as normal.

Look at included xbox360cemu.ini for config help

Installation:
Extract xinput1_3.dll, xbox360cemu.ini file to the game exe directory.
Rename DLL if needed
Extract dinput8.dll file to the game exe directory if you want to hide your controller from the game.
**DO NOT REPLACE SYSTEM FILES**

Uninstallation:
Delete xbox360cemu.ini, xinput1_3.dll file.

not that im an authority on it , but a majority of the BC 2 guys are playing APB on Wednesdays now.

I would definitely be up for some more BC2 when I get my new computer that can actually run it decently, especially if what Eightball said is true about the controls being smoothed out.

I dunno about smoother controls, but it does run better. Too bad most servers still have terrible hosts and therefore terrible hit registration.

DMC4 is worth a playthrough if you like DMC games. Nero switches up the gameplay for the first half of the game, then you go back to Dante for the last half. If you liked DMC you'll like it. Simple as that.

There was some Valve news statement someone posted on reddit that said the sale ended at 10PST on Monday. It also hinted that Sunday's deals would be a "Best of the sale" one.
