I disagree. It's like giving speeches, the best at giving speeches don't write out their speech word for word but they do have an outline. The podcast itself should be a product of the moment but if you don't have an outline of what is going on then it will probably be a mess.

I might be down (hush tim) for an off- topic segment. I have a predilection for wanting to chat with folks about stories in the news. For example, I'd love to host a panel of folks to talk about the masturbation article, like James, tim, Zane, Ertai, and shadow. The guests would vary depending on topic.

Did some thinking about this on the way home. Let's assume we are using vent and settle on how we will record. You guys can get together and do segments at your convenience. I'll organize it then we will record a show with Luin as host and Funbucks as co-host. They will do some stuff live and kick in the segments as they go and bam we got our first podcast. I'd appreciate if everyone gave me an outline of their segment before recording but it isn't required. I'm setting a flexible timeline of 10 minutes to try and keep it under. If you go over it's no biggee we can always cut stuff down.

I'd like to do the first gamer card personally with Sponson and Caffeine about pokemon so they can educate me. So expect me to bug both of you to get that recorded as soon as I know how we will be recording these. Everyone else think of something you wanna do and put it together. Just make sure it's something you can be proud of. If we need more segments I'll put together some ideas and poke the people I think would be the best for them.

This could easily turn into a mess if we open too much up to groupthink. The best way to do it is to have everyone in charge of what they are doing. Let me see about giving those people interested in working on this access to the old board.
