A good thing to play with your buddies but I can't take the competitive scene seriously, like with SSB. Tekken and Soul Calibur I'd have to disagree with, then yell incoherently at you till I got bored, then possibly go make a hot pocket. I'm gonna go make a hot pocket. @Duck vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv [/quote] Don't make me 'vee' you back. They're at least designed to be competitive, while Smash was not. MvC evolved into a whole different beast than Capcom expected it to be. At least there's no debate about what is and isn't legal, and there's no banned characters or any of that type of thing. The competitive rules for MvC have been set for close to 8 years, while Smash's rules are ever changing and being just fucking stupid. Guilty Gear XX Accent Core+ is one of the most balanced fighting games out there. Along with BlazBlue, even though there are some seriously stupid matchups, however they are fixing those after the next big tournament in Japan apparently. Soul Calibur and Tekken, however are not as well balanced, there are no stupid disputes between the fighting game community. I watched most of the tournaments at EVO going on and all of them were fun to watch. SCIV was fun to watch, because a lot of people got pissed at Hilde and how she would ring out everyone, however one guy came back and eliminated all of the Hildes from the tournament and won the whole thing. There was great character dispersity and it was fun to watch. Same with Tekken. Pretty much any fighting game community outside of Smash is good. |

Personally, I'm gonna wait until it's done  Less jacked up crap and notably, a complete single player campaign.
online RTS play sucks <+Karrde> welp, time to learn some basic patterning skills <@Negate> 12121212121212121212 <@Negate> there is a simple pattern <+Karrde> I changed my mind. Gonna cosplay as a gay demon from hell and get negate raped instead XD <+Caffeine`work> Karrde: Gay demon? Why would you need to cosplay just go as yourself <+FlyingMongoose> Caffeine`work: Karrde would actually have to tone it down some. |

The Water Still Beads - My goodness this game is polished. I mean, I know this is Blizzard, and I know it's been 12 years in the making, but still. From menu screen to interface to terrain to the behaviour and animation of the units, this game is dripping with incidental detail. You want to see what Blizzard mean when they say "it's done when it's done", you boot this game up and compare the trimmings with any other game you've ever played, you'll see what they're talking about. |

A month or so later, anybody else have this?
I know a few people in the Bronze and Gold brackets for League play so far, but the mirco-game is still really undefined at this point. I still don't have access, which is fine as I have BC2 to keep me busy in the meantime. Feel free to gloat below and make me feel badly |
