Turned out I had to update the server as well, so it’s a bit more work than I thought, so the creative update isn’t happening until Tuesday.

Incidentally, that’s also when the Left 4 Dead 2 demo is released..
Anyone want to sneak in a few games with me? I’ll be on irc.

I'm guessing he's just releasing survival as a sort of demo for free players who haven't had a chance to play it yet. Odds are he's gunna lock it up again to paid players only sometime. Still, if you buy during alpha you get like half-off or something.

Anyways, that recent update of his really made survival interesting for me. Got pretty addicted to it in the last two days and went and made a big castle-like thing. ;D

Map is still the same, didn't get a chance to make a new map yet. Everything seems to be working fine though.



Note to Admins
One bug at the moment is that Solid blocks can't be deleted, so just don't place any. >.<

I can't decided whether I really like or really hate not having cheats. On one side, it's INCREDIBLY frustrating not being able to fly and move around quickly. On another note, it's nice to have to walk part everyone creations forcing you to see all of it.

I would like if cheats alternated between days, so every other day, you had cheats. Some days you would want to play and be forced to walk and see everything, others you would be able to fly and build a lot more.

I think it'd be perfect if there was something just like a sprint button or something. That, and some server command that can be toggled ingame by an admin to allow flying and whatnot.

Also... some official downloadable client so I can have full screen... and maybe anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering while we're at it.
