I like my Canada, but Molson and Labatt are not close to being edible to me.

but when i just want to get pissed drunk i'll go for molson dry or labatt blue, cheval blanc rickards or boréale . I also hate coor's light and other light beers, it's impossible to get drunk on those, they also taste water and i despise water.

The guy at the counter said "boy if you like hops lemme tell you, get a fork and a knife for this, you're gonna love it!" About as much as Hoptimus Prime (I haven't had it, but a friend of mine has and says it's about the same).

Hop Devil is great, and I've been drinking it a lot lately as one of my regular bars now has it on tap.

I had a bell's sparkling ale and oberon.  They were both good but I ended up reversing my opinions.  At first I liked the oberon better but then decided my favorite was the sparkling ale.

The sparkling ale is like a lighter version of a Belgian ale.

Historically, I have been partial to ratebeer.com for my reviews, but I just popped on and their new site design looks like asshole (no offense, Maj Angry).

Anyways, for almost the past year now I have been drinking 3 Monts regularly.

I thought it was pretty good, not the most amazing beer Ive ever had, but not bad by any stretch of the means. I wouldnt say its something that you could have several of in a row either

I had the Sam Adam's White seasonal ale and it was good, Hoegaarden is better though.  Also Chimay is fucking fantastic.  I think I liked the white label triple the best.

While we are defiling our perfectly good pints, the radler is also a swell summer beverage.  Half-lemonade (or lemon-lime soda, but I like lemonade) and half German Hefe-weizen (of the imported bottles, Weinstephan is usually the best, Hacker-Pschorr is suprisingly good, and Paulaner is consistent).  It's really good when you need to quench your thirst on a hot summer's day (do they have those in Ontario?) and want to pace yourself.

I've got some Leffe, 3 Monts, Hacker-Pschorr, and more in the fridge for later, but it's too early to join you as its not even noon yet.  and I am working, that too.

My current rotation:

Beer: Though released many years ago, I really fell in love with Hacker-Pschorr Hefe Weisse this year.

Thread Revival?

So yeah I just had my first encounter with this dangerous beer last weekend:

Carlsberg beer is the "Sneakiest" beer I have ever drank.  Not only being dangerously tasty but I downed about 3 of these with no problem but within an hour or two later, compounded with 3 more, the after effects finally caught up to me leading to a very hung over tragic hero the next morning.

Beware when drinking this.

The new Sam Adams Imperial collection is really good.  I'd recommend the Imperial White.
