never heard of it before the movie
I just downloaded a torrent of it last week, and I'm buying a real copy asap. Very very good, highly recommend. Can't see The Comedian without thinking of Trace though Also: Douglas Adams esque humor written by Doctor House equals amazing! And on that subject (apologies for all the shitty transitions ) Did you guys hear about Eoin Colifer writing a new Hitchhikers Guide book? First a new "Ian Fleming" book now this |

I started on Timequake by KV and I really like it. He's such an interesting and weird writer.

This is amazing. Get it and read it. I don't care who you are or what you do. Read it. Also still reading the Pratchett book "The Fifth Elephant", also started into "The Truth" also by Pratchett. |

Kitchen Confidential was a Good Read.
I just finished "Issac's Storm," a historical recreation of the events and mis-steps by the US weather bureau on the way to the Hurricane of 1900 wiping Galveston, TX off the map. Also a good read, and more interesting of a story than I thought it would be. |

Finally got started on Watership Down. Yeah, I know it's labeled as a childrens book, but it's definitely not a typical childrens book.

I made it through book 3 of Dune. I can see duck's complaints. There are a lot of things I skip over now.
Also anyone here a Christopher Moore fan? He's got a new book out that looks good but I don't buy hardcovers. |

I just started reading Slam by Nick Hornby and I am really liking it. Also the main character is pretty much how I picture Dave.
The plot is teenager accidentally knocks up his GF and has to deal with it. But it's a comedy. So british Juno? |

Bumped for some classical literacy motherfuckers.
Finished up Crime and Punishment and Wuthering Heights. Crime and Punishment: Long as fuck, and a little boring in some parts, but I still liked it for the most part. Wuthering Heights: Simultaneously boring and compelling, just like any good soap opera. Filled with over dramatic characters, stupid actions, and a lot of moping and whining. Would not read again. |

Just read the first volume of The Walking Dead. It was pretty good. Not a big fan of the art.
Before that I read A Dirty Job. It was good. It kinda reminded me of Gaiman meets Pratchett, but not as good. |

I'm almost done reading Freakanomics Revised and Expanded edition
Very interesting read if you know anything about economics, or would like to learn more about how economics works. Â Sig by Joel |
