It's close enough though.  Seriously, I could read half that page and my Spanish has gotten awful.  If you know spanish, you can read portugese, even if you can't speak it or understand it verbally.

actually the exact opposite is true, alot of it sounds damn spot on, but is spelled completely different, especially Portuguese from Portugal and Proper Spanish.
