Honestly, i love Dtoid, but their reviews are one of the most overhyped things i've ever read. They usually say things to make people happy. Also, they are not neutral.
If one guy dislikes fighting games, he will rape the game until on the end he puts "But, people who enjoy this kind of game will found it epic" and giving it a 6 |

They actually use a full 10 point scale, and provide pretty fair assessments about games. True, Rev's are always a bit to harsh (add 3 points to it and you'll find out what anyone else would give it) but apart from Eternity's Child, I never disagreed with the criticism they brought up. |

Here's how I think about yahtzee. Â He's like the opposite end of the spectrum of most other critics who bend over backwards for publishers to keep their perks (like review copies). Â He probably does this on purpose. Â So you take his review and match it with one of the suck up reviews and together you got a complete picture of the game.
He points out all the flaws because he is in the business of saving you money, where most reviews are to get you to spend it. Â If you can live with the flaws he points out then buy the game. |

Why send him something he is going to tear to pieces. :  Sig by Joel |

Why they bother writing anything but a number is beyond me. ... *wishes dtoid kept the buy/rent/forget it rating system instead of switching to numbers so they could be posted on metacritic* Caffeine`brb!u: /facepalm Caffeine`brb!u: you have the technological ability of Dede Caffeine`brb!u: OOOOOOO what does this button do Caffeine`brb!u: *break* Caffeine`brb!u: SCOTTY GET OUT OF MY SERVER |

Meh, the story is pretty horrible, and I'm not really impressed with the gameplay. If I wanted to memorize levels, I'd play with my NES. or Myself.
Also, they didn't just delay for DRM, they had to build in a trap to make the game unplayable for teh pirates. |

Heh. Companies need to learn that games WILL be pirated no matter what bull they try to pull. Need more systems like steam, XBL, etc. Only hope. That and stop making derivitave games that people can't be assed to pay for because it's not worth what you're selling it at.
<+Karrde> welp, time to learn some basic patterning skills <@Negate> 12121212121212121212 <@Negate> there is a simple pattern <+Karrde> I changed my mind. Gonna cosplay as a gay demon from hell and get negate raped instead XD <+Caffeine`work> Karrde: Gay demon? Why would you need to cosplay just go as yourself <+FlyingMongoose> Caffeine`work: Karrde would actually have to tone it down some. |
