so i did some singleplayer
its allright, dont see whats special about it

but the multiplayer is so badass

first time on i logged into a server a fucking dog ate me

then i saw someone trying to snipe so i creot up behind him and stabbed him, but then he dropped a grenade of something and my legs came off.

apart from that the multiplayer is pretty realistic, theres FF and getting hit once basicly means your fucked.

Seriously? I'm the complete opposite. I saw COD4 was Non-descript Locationistan and went "Well this can't be too bad." And saw WaW was WWII and was just plain mad.

I hear it's worth the buy though, and instead of helicopters you get dogs which makes me giggle, so I'll probably pick it up soon as L4D loses it's charm.

I thought the Russian single player campaign in COD1 was pretty epic.  Nothing in the rest of the series compared to that (and I played all of COD1, most of 2, most of 3 and all of 4).  As for online, Enemy Territory is the only multiplayer WWII FPS for me.

I'm sure I could think of more multiplayer-geared ones that I liked, there's a boatload of mods that Ive found more enjoyable than any of the CoD games. WWII shooters are so overdone its not even fucking funny anymore. BF1942 was about the end of it for me, unless someone remakes WWII Online in a more PS-y style...

And yes, I am elitist, toward PC shooters. Not ashamed of it at all, I'm sure my opinion will have no effect on your enjoyment of something. If you want to buy/enjoy it, the 2 cents I'm throwing in shouldn't make much of a difference
