PS Saturdays #8 - Mixed Armor + Contest Winner

Before I announce the winner lets recap...

Well the drop squad only had marginal successes, sometimes its just no the kind of battle, and frankly we just weren't ready for coordinated galaxy tactics. So...back to the stuff we seem to do good with, armor, at some point Id like to do an airsquad, but flying is a lot harder driving. However this week I'm not going to mandate any sort of cert that you need to get.

By not playing last week you missed the following...

- Dropping the gal on top of the drop and everyone dying
- Suicidal drops
- Massive failure
- Some lulz
- Stealthy Ninja drops dicking over second fronts
- Why is that guy at the bridge head...god damnit...

For This Week:

Required: 1 vehicle cert (Armored Assault 1 & 2 (3), Ground Transport (2), or Assault Buggy (3)), Engineering (3)
Recommended: Medium Assault, 2nd Vehicle Cert, Rexo

Just for explination purposes to newbies:
Armored Assault 1 & 2 = Lightning & Magrider
Ground Transport = Aurora, Deliverer, and Leviathan
Assault Buggy = Thresher & Skyguard

Time: 7pm cst

Ventrilo is mandatory

Fun in this game increases exponentially with the more people that join up so I hope to see more of the people that stated they were interested in the initial thread to come out, the game is FREE, but you are restricted to BR6. If you get "suspended" or banned since the trial accounts are loopholes just make another one. Conversely you can spend $20 to pick up the game at direct2drive, which comes with a free month, this removes the restriction on your battlerank.

Remember, the trials sometimes will RANDOMLY suspended you, just a heads up.


IMPORTANT: Run the launchpad.exe in 98/95 compatibility mode, if you have an Athlon processor make sure you download their Dual core optimizer

Oh, by the way, post what vehicles you are driving so I get a bit of the sense of the kinds of vehicles we'll have.

Ill probably have Armored Assault & Assault Buggy, just depends on the role you want to play...


Magrider - Bread and butter for killing other vehicles, also good against air - front lines
Thresher - Bait & Distractions, also hunts down AV infantry pegging magriders (driver must be suicidal )
Skyguard - Stays behind the mags, eats air and thats about it, run away if someone looks at you funny
Aurora - Anti Infantry and not much else, useless against air, but still decent against large vehicles (Requires 3)
Deliverer - Well rounded and good against everything, but doesn't absolutely excel at them (Requires 3)
Leviathan - You all know the death bus, good against vehicles and BFRs, but dies easily (Requires 5 - 7)
Leviathan (Alone) - Suicidally ram BFRs and other vehicles and light off your EMP, this will prevent BFRs from running from the vehicle squad or keep other tanks from firing back, also good at clearing mine fields for the column (Requires 1)

OMG doing an air squadron would be awesome, coz' then we could all have our own vehicles and it'd be cool.
