Ohhhh, that reminds me. If anyone is interested in organizing Ship Nights and/or Thursday Mod Nights (on #2 unless we ever get the mod server back up and running), lemme know. I'm willing to host the stuff, but I don't have the memory to make a weekly post/poll deciding what the mod will be. A few things though:

-You're responsible for at the very least testing the mod beforehand to see whether it's actually in any sort of playable state

-You need to make sure that there's a dedicated linux-server download available, and that a client is actually available (which is a given since you should be testing it anyways)

-For mod nights, the sooner I know what mod I need to install the better. Ideally I would know the night before, since I have class and stuff, but my Thursday schedule is not too busy, so I can try (keyword: try) to accomodate last minute decisions

-In the event of the mod not working/sucking/etc, it would be nice if you either 1) decided on a new mod to play or 2) gave me the heads up so I can restart the TF2 server

-I prefer that you at least make it to the events to help streamline them, but it's not really necessary as long as you can find someone else to organize it in your stead

-Make the posts a few days in advance, bump when necessary, whatever you need to do to get people to show up. If people don't show up, it's not worth my effort to host. :-[

-I'll let you decide how you do votes, but imo 4-5 mods, and giving everyone 2 votes works better than same number of mods with 1 vote, since you get a better idea what will maximize community happiness

-and lastly, mix it up. Rotate mods in and out, do your best to at least get everyone to try them out at least once. DIPRIP and Dystopia are 2 that deserve some more playtime imho

Seriously? Did you even try to find it? I googled Brain Bread and had  it downloaded in less than a minute. And I'm pretty sure it was HL1 mod, not 2.

Also I might be able to start organizing again in a couple months.  Doing 2 nights got me a bit burned out and I got a lot of work to do and other games to play right now.  Actually I have an idea, I'm making a thread.
