I'm really liking it so far.  It's awesome that one of the buddies sounds identical to the heavy.  "You go to Villa, and KEEEL LITTLE MAN!"

I was running past a checkpoint and a patrol was ahead of me in a little car.  I passed a zebra and then the guy saw me so he sped up, zoomed passed me at his AI super speed and slammed the zebra behind me.  I love that you can look behind, because it looked like he flipped his car or something after thrashing the zebra lol

For those that are playing, I found a gold plated AK with no stock on it in a cave.  Hopefully it's not the only secret weapon out there, but it was neat to stumble across after hang gliding.



And I found out the fun of the flare gun.  What does it do?  Well it sets stuff on fire.  This is what came of that.



Sadly my awesome dune buggy was a casualty when the fire roasted the nearby jeep and made it explode.  It's a healthy reminder to not try out new guns so close to your own vehicle lol

The dune buggy is awesome, and lighting dudes on fire with the flare gun is great. I'm going to hunt animals with it.

Now if the Dune Buggy only had a mounted machine gun on it, it would be the ultimate vehicle.  Great for long hauls though cause of it's speed.

So I finally played this game for a couple hours last night and.... ummm... yeah.  The game sure is... something?  I don't think I've ever seen a game that seems so... lost?  I know I've never felt more disconnected from a plot and any sense of purpose in my life.  I mean it's hard to explain, it doesn't even feel like it's a game so much as a world you are presented with to make your own game in.  Kind of like GTA, but everyone in the world is hostile, so all there is to do is kill everyone and find diamonds, neither of which is particularly compelling so far.  The whole thing feels even more bizarre with the ridiculous production values around it.

I'll probably play it some more to see if it eventually makes any kind of sense and there is anything interesting to do, but so far it seems like some bastardized console STALKER wannabe or something.

Also the "save" system is lulz, since I assume it only has save points on console, but the you can save anywhere on PC, and the "quicksave" just stacks more saves into the save list ~.~

this game isnt as great as i thaught it would be, but im onl yup to the bit where you kill the police guy, my albanian mate saved my ass, that bit was cool but the guns suck, i shot this guy like 5 times in the chest and he was still stood there, gayyyy.

the size of thegame is amazing tho, i got bored of missions and went on an explore, good times

Yeah, the guns kinda suck. Shooting a guy five times with a FAL should really kill them. On the other hand, the 1903 sniper rifle owns.

My framerate keeps randomly going to hell. I load it once, I get a great framerate; next time I load it up, it's in the teens.

I guess I should try the main plotline or something, because as far as I can tell, everything else about this game sort of sucks.  Like, it might be interesting once or twice, until you realize it has all the depth and replayability of an average Michael Bay production.  And all this "realistic" HUD bullshit like making me look at a fucking map by holding it in my fucking hand is really annoying.  I know they do it for the sake of "immersion", but when your world consists of nothing but generic gun toting bushwackers riding around on jeeps and respawning at anything marked on the map, I think that ship has sailed.

edit: getting your car completely stuck a mile away from anywhere you could get a new one because of two fucking rocks sucks, though.
