And how does owning it preclude you from starting a trial and playing with that? Thats assuming that the reason you're balking is the cost to resub.

I will be going to a friends BBQ who is moving away on Sat Afternoon/Early Afternoon, I may be late for the start of this, but Im sure Atom and/or Shadow can pick up some of the slack

I may or may not. I'd like to be there, but they just fired another engineer at my work, and I have to move to Richmond, VA instead of Greensboro, NC. And this has to happen in the next two weeks. Good thing I didn't send in my (already signed) lease for an apartment in Greensboro today! So I might be stuck planning for that instead of playing PS (((((((((((((((((((((

I'm sorry guys, but I just can't get into this. I'm not up for paying monthy fees for a single game. I was all ready to go last night, but then realized I still had to finish the training so I couldn't really come out. Now I'll have to remake and then restart the training if I want in for next Saturday's gaming, which was it for me. Mucking around with the trail is too much effort for me.

Now, if this game had no monthly fees I would gladly pick this up and play with you guys. It definitely looks like my kind of game, and the large scale of things really looks like fun. As is though I doubt I'll be getting into it. :S

You don't HAVE to do the training...it literally takes a couple of minutes to get the Uni-MAX cert, from creating a character to kicking ass with your heavy anti-infantry gun...

Pretty much this, the training is for the first time when you get in the game to familiarize yourself with the UI, once you've done that you could spend an hour or two redoing it for the XP or you could go fight, and get a few kills in 15 min and get the same amount of XP.

Well, you won't even have to buy it when it's FTP anyways... assuming they really intend to get that back and running anytime soon.
