Seeing as how Ain made me nostalgic for it, Im just curious if anyone else would be down for playing a month at some point in the future. It is $20 for a direct to drive purchase and I believe that it comes with a free month of play. I do no think you could find this in a bargain bin in a store.
For an idea of what the game is like, check out this video, or these other two by the same people. edit: 4th by same people Sound off if you would be down for this, or have questions  Sig by Joel |

How about we all try this as a group? I really wish they were still running the Planetside Reserves, or whatever they called the freeplay program.

This is the kind of thing I would probably be willing to pay a subscription for. Subscriptions aren't the worst thing ever, I just don't particularly care for rpgs. That said, is there much you can really do in a month? I mean, I tried the 2-week trial of that space game (rofl blanking on the name) but 2 weeks just wasn't enough time to even get the kind of equipment/stats necessary to be able to really have fun. I would also be up for trying the thing Eschatos mentioned, that looks pretty cool too. Assuming it, y'know, works. Ripped like paper raped with ease hey scrub nerd pyros suck on these |

In one month you can reach max battle rank (or 20, the old max) if you are good and play for the most part every night. Your battlerank just gives you more points to spend on toys, rank gives you depth and stay-ability. If you are a crack shot you can kill someone who has been playing since day one on their original character just as quickly as you can kill someone who has just made a new character. You might not learn all the quirks of the game in a month, but I could probably teach you a fair bit. Â Sig by Joel |

If you guys started before then, I'd be in, but only once or twice a week. After that though...[b]=D Ripped like paper raped with ease hey scrub nerd pyros suck on these |

Well that's certainly one explanation for why I've been going to bed at 8am and waking up at 6pm the last 3 days... :'(

I'm tempted, just need more info and maybe options. How much is it monthly? Cuz if I'm willing to spend a month on a game I'm probably likely to spend more time

I look forward to doing this if we can organize it, its been a long time since I helped make HJ widely known as the best magrider (read: hovertank) driver on the US East server by gunning for him Taught him a few things about ninjaing as well, I don't think he ever got the hang of using the neutral pistol. Damnit, I really want to do this. I can't afford two monthly subscriptions though. Why the hell did they remove all the free trials?
