Here its like $11 for a six pack so about $2 a bottle.  And you need less cuz it has more alcomahol.

Also, if all you care about is alcohol content, drink MD 20/20, Bacardi 151, or Everclear (in order of how tolerable the taste is). Everclear straight is not fun though, I would not suggest it.

$7 for a six-pack in the state it is made. As much as I love it, I might have a hard time justifying a price north of $9 for recurring use.

Also, I can usually only appreciate the taste of the first beer or 3.  Once a good buzz kicks in, I usually continue my alcohol intake with something cheaper if I am planning an extended bender.

eh, try to find the 120 minute Imperial IPA from dogfish head, just prepare to shuck out $8 a bottle.  My brother actually found a couple bottles, when the cashier rang them up (they were sold individually) he like "wtf, this must be the price for a 6 pack" and price overided them the $1.50 AHAHAHA

HeK did try it; I didn't care for the smell of it either, though my opinion is generally null, since I don't drink beer.

However I do recall that after trying two bottles on two different nights, we left the rest of the case in the fridge for the cleaning staff to do with as they please.

I drank a beer last night that was so strong even tasting the foam was like getting kicked in the balls.  I'm not just talking bitter here, I'm talking about the pure essence of beer.  Needless to say I was not strong enough to finish mine.  It takes like +10 constitution.  It's Goudon Carolus Grand Cru of the emperor the 2008 brew.  The 2007 is well within my tolerance and quite delicious.

This. Also, I don't think most Dogfish actually has raisins, coffee, or any weird shit in it. I've had a couple different brews and they've all been delicious.  Also, their prices vary a lot. A friend of mine bought some last night that was 15% alc/vol, at $16 for 4 bottles. Yikes!

Actually, there is one type that does. And I make no apologies for absolutely loving it. It goes without saying, but it tastes so much better from a tap than bottle.

A deep, mahogany ale brewed with beet sugar, green raisins, and Belgian-style yeast. As complex as a fine, red wine. Voted "American Beer of the Year" in January 2000 by Malt Advocate Magazine.

I like the chicory stout less well, the coffee one, but better than most domestic stouts (that is, american stouts).

A dark beer made with a touch of roasted chicory, organic Mexican coffee, St. John's Wort, and licorice root.

Dogfish head also makes a swell gin and vodka.  As a company, I think they compare favorably to any independent small-scale brewer or distiller in the US.

Also, to the culturally-insensitive flying dutchman who thinks that raisins in beer sound gross, might I remind you that your Belgian neighbors have been sticking cherries, apples, currants, and all sorts of fruit in beer to get a second fermentation for years. So you can't blame america for this.  That said, I readily admit that most belgian lambics are superior to anything that dogfish head makes.
