Not quite.  They're Plantronics, but they're just a "gaming headset", and the unit was about 40-ish I believe... 30 ~ 40.

$90 isn't a ridiculous amount of money to spend for good headphones. Tongue

Mine were...$100? I dunno.

Ohh - headphone jack'd is punny

Home/computer pair - http://www.gradolabs.com/product_pages/sr60.htm - I normally prefer around ear to on-ear, but these grado's sound swell. paid $59 sound way better than the $99 sony's I used to rock.

work/travel/ipod pair - http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/er4.aspx - I prefer canalphones for the sound isolation, and these are quite nice and clear. but, the bass is a bit weak and they are too uncomfortable to sleep with. - paid $199, and a repair cord just cost me $50.  Yes, the sound is worth 200bucks for my ears, but on the whole they are not necessarily better than the grado's. I like the grado sound better, but because they are open and sound spills in and out they are not suited to work/walking/travel like the etys.

favorite knock-around pair - a koss/radio shack Plug set modded like so http://www.headwize.com/projects/cmoy4_prj.htm - quite muddy and overly bass-ey compared to the er-4ps, and can be uncomfortable after an hour or so, but I wear them to sleep, abuse them, and they always deliver a solid sound. paid $15bucks.

Nice. I've got a set of ER-15s for when I go raving, so I guess these boys know what they're doing.

Personally, I rock a Logitech headset for gaming. Nothing special but who the fuck wants to hear a load of wankers screaming down their mics in perfect clarity? For proper listening purposes I've got a pair of Shure in-ears and some Sennheiser cans.

Well, I'm no sound engineer, but 10-25,000 I could only dream of. My last headset was 30-18K. My iPod canalphones are like, 17.5 or 18-23K.

With all the shit people are doing to their ears (wearing ear buds, listening to music to loud) they probably can't hear upwards of 19-20K. Then again, when you get into psychoacoustics, frequencies that are higher than you can hear affect ones that you can hear. Hence speakers that can go upwards of 100k.

One of our clients had a couple of king masks, so naturally I stopped working and became the king for a bit.

Why are you trying to steal Crow's identity?
