Surprisingly i have off of work for a night out of the week, and of all nights it is monday night!!
for those of you who don't know, i dont have The Ship!!
but, i am interested in trying it out, so if anyone has a guest pass available, that would be really cool if i could play with you guys tonight
all i have to do is get the gf to leave me alone for a little while this goes on.
idk when these things normally start, and i dont normally organize them, but im bored so here i am making a forum post.
so feel free to stab my topic to death or fix it.

Things usually start 8est I think. As for guest passes go look on the post for last monday and you should find a couple people willing to give their guest pass up.

They start at 8 est but caff usually rcon's the server up early, so if you have a funny time zone you can start seeding it early.  Anyone can set up the post for the event you just have to help organize the pass distribution.  And about the GF issue, this is one of the games that has serious female appeal.  My wife keeps wanting to watch me play and I think I will get her playing it eventually (she has this thing against PC games so she's afraid to admit she's interested).

So just make up a list of those that have a pass and those that want one, and put yourself down as wanting one.  Those that have one will be posting.

Caff, she's a gaming minimalist.  She prefers console dramatically over PC and the DS dramatically over console.

I'm sure you saw it caff but there is a fawlty towers map that looks pretty awesome as well.  You can turn out the lights and kill people in the dark without being seen (if you can find them)!!!!

Make sure to download it prior, some things like a few of the sounds and the deckplans will not download from the download URL. Also all the WWII nazi propaganda posters and German patriotic music are made of win.

It's more of the fact that we only get to spend time about once a week, so she prolly would think of me going and playing a game for a little would mean that i would rather play games than spend time with her. Maybe i can talk it over with her and make her watch me play.

Not a good idea I would suggest it would better be phrased as to "try out a really cool game that's played every Monday with me."  Then explain it's like the sims meets clue.  Chicks dig the sims and clue.
