I'd recommend staying away from the bolded titles. I've played through them both and wasn't impressed.

ZX Advent sucked with almost nothing to do with the series at all accompanied by horrific dialoge and voice acting. Too easy.

Kirby Squeak Squad was a very short game(as it always is) with no co-op and crappy multiplayer games. Way too easy, I don't think I even died once on that game.

All the handheld (GBA and later) Kirby's have sucked other than Canvas Curse.  And nothing ever compares to Kirby Superstar anyways.

Also on the Atlus note, Trauma Center if you never played it way back when (sequel coming soon) and I liked Draglade a lot, even if it's not really that good of a game.

I've been playing the hell out of Rondo of Swords lately, to the exclusion of all else.  I need to get back to Phantom Hourglass at some point...

I will totally pick up Disgaea DS when it comes out, and I will probably pick up FF Tactics A2 this week because I am stupid sucker.

FF Tactics A2 is starting out pretty fucking awesome. Spent my afternoon working through the start of the game. It seems to be just as addictive as the GBA version.

I tried the GBA game and couldn't get into it. It was too different from the original..way too kiddy..and the law system is just stupid.

Geometry wars DS, Phantom Hourglass, etc.

Also, i still play tetris DS and Piccross all the time.  Good games you can play for five minutes at a time.

I considered buying a DS just for pokemon, then i was like hmm... theres no other games i want, being that i am not a 9 year old girl.

Oh. In addition to the ones others have mentioned is Prism.

Basically it's a slow paced puzzle game. Like Professor Layton, but so much more laid back and relaxing. Sounds pretty lame, but the Gametrailers review convinced me, and I'm happy that it did.

I personally am excited for the FFIV remake coming out soon. Hopefully some good stuff will be announced at E3 as well since all I can see on store shelves at the moment is shovelware.
